The More Music platform currently serves a database of 2,200 teachers and 40,000 students across the UK, Holland, Norway and Denmark. Promoting qualified, verified teachers without the need for in person instruction, More Music’s online classroom enables both a broader choice for students and increased reach for tutors, giving the best possible chances for a great match.
“We started developing our online classroom in 2019, with a strategy to become the best music-specific educational platform on the market,” said Jan Thomas Sviggum, Chief Executive Officer. “Building our remote classroom experience with the Vonage Video API, as opposed to an out-of-the-box solution that offers just video meetings, allowed us to incorporate tools and capabilities designed specifically for music lessons and instruction while delivering a best-in-class live video experience.”
Because the Vonage Video API is embedded directly into the More Music classroom experience, teachers and students are able to take advantage of features including a digital piano, screen sharing, sound sharing, virtual metronome and whiteboard all within the same application.
